House of Hell

Nicko watched her hands move along the keys, facinated.

Sky smiled as her hands traveled across the keys.

Nicko looked away from her when after a while he found himself focused more on her than the song.

Sky smiled and sighed happily as she slowly finished the song " I love Claude Debussy..." She said softly.

Nicko smiled "I just like the bounce to that song," he said.

Sky smiled " thanks again for getting this closer to the house.." She said softly, smiling shyly at him.

Nicko shrugged "No problem," he said, smiling.

Sky looked down at the piano, biting her lip a little.

Nicko gazed at her with a strange look on his face. "So beautiful..." he said softly.

Sky blushed deeply, peeking at him " yes.. His music is beautiful.." She said softy.

Nicko half smiled, not looking at her. "I didn't mean the music."

Sky blushed even more " d-did you mean me?" She said shyly and surprised.

Nicko's smile widened. "Yep," he said, absentmindedly plucking a few notes on his guitar strings.

Sky bit her lip, peeking at him shyly again.

Nicko frowned now. "Do you not want me to call you that?" he said. "Sorry, I jsut said what was on my mind."

Sky blushed and looked away, shaking her head " no.. I-I'm just surprised you think that.." She said, kicking herself for her shyness.

Nicko shrugged. "Who wouldn't? You're not the regular kind of pretty, Sky. You're the 'woah did I really just see her' kind of pretty."

Sky didn't know what to say " thank you.." She whispered out, she now was shy with him, this kind of talk always made her stumble over her words.

Nicko could tell she was uncomfortably and swiched topics. "So... who taught you to play piano?"

Sky looked at the piano and smiled " my mother.." She said softly.

Nicko nodded. 'You're very good," he said.

Sky smiled sadly " I was determined to keep something from my mother after she died.."

Nicko glanced at her. "I'm sorry," he said.

Sky looked up at him " it's okay.. It's been a while since she was gone.. But I still have the memory of her every time I play.." She sniffed a bit, trying to fight the tears that threatened her eyes.

Nicko hugged her comfortingly, ready to jump back if she didn't like it.
