Curse of the Fallen

When humanity was at its peak a angel mated with a devil poducing a halfling child. The other angels were afronted and sought to destroy the child as it was tainted the demons were of a similar mindset. The parents who loved their child hid it on earth sealing her powers. Then the pair found out then had another child this time a son. Again they hid it on Earth. The girl child favored the angel side while the boy favored the demon side. The two meet and recognise each other as kin. But they are in a world that does not like them. Demons are hunted and angel's revered for it is the beging of the age of Christantiy who seeks to wipe our the rest. Angels push the Christains to remove the 'tainted pairing' and demon in the mind to annoy the angels push their followers to fight whichever way they find more amusing. But the two halfling are not the first of the halfbreeds and they want to live... and are tired of being hunted. But not all angels wish for the halflings end nor do all demons.

basicly humans must be in some religion's preisthood to be able to have powers. (i don't care which ones) but they can be either light or dark., i.e. healing, defensive, or attack.

demons can only have dark powers like:
darkness, desease, pain, the elements (but only the more damaging uses). but say anything but it should be able to be used as an ATTACK

angels can only have light powers
light, healing and elements. But it needs to be able to be used as DEFENSE or HEALING.

halflings can do either. but their powers are stronger than humans

This does NOT mean that demons can't do defense or some minor healing but mostly they attack. Nor does it mean angels can't attack it is just their attacks are weaker and they don't really focus on them.

Okay, what if he's weird, human, and believes in the ancient greek gods?

well if he is in the greek clergy or preist of whatever thing they had then he could have powers. i know they had something like that.

I guess for the area he would be, sort of, as he's probably the only one around who believes in them.
