Curse of the Fallen

Karina cocked head to the side, forgetting not to look at him and bringing her eyes up to his face. "How come Riven's got all the information and you've none?" She felt that shivery feeling again, and blushed, though she ignored it.

Robert shrugged " I don't pay attention to people when they give me information.." He said and then looked up at her, meeting her eyes. They widened and he started to breath more heavily. " you are my one.." He whispered.

Karina looked away again, recoiling "Your what?!" she asked

Robert groaned " you seriously don't know any of this?!" He muttered, looking her over " look at me.. Into my eyes and tell me what you feel.."

Karina blushed and glanced into his eyes before looking away shyly. "Scared," she answered truthfully, her heart pounding.

Robert blinked and eased up a little to lessen his intensity " Please tell me you feel like you know me.." He asked, his voice showing emotion as it wavered nerviously.

Karina sighed. "I do, I just..." she paused. "What does it mean?"

Robert looked at her " It means that we are meant to be... even if we try to fight it, we will be together.. " He told " We are soul mates.."

Karina blushed even hotter. She could feel it was true, but that scared her even more. She'd not had good experiences with men in the past. "I thought that was a myth," she said, though she put her eyes on his.

Robert stared into her eyes " You can feel it is not.." He said softly, he saw the fear in her eyes also " I will take it slow, but I think it will be your demon that will want to speed things up.." He told her.

Shive looked to the sky and said "Fine...." she turned "after all it is to be excepted from an ANGEL to abandon those they find unpure." she left trying not to cry and hating this... why did she have to find her One like this? Why... was that baned as well? She took to the sky trying to clear her mind her body flowing into her true form. One that there was no trace of the impurty that marked her out.... She hated this..... life of denal.

Riven sighed "Chris you could have doen that better... you as good as told her she was not good enough for you."

Karina looked at him and nodded, still fearful, not having had any good experiences with men in the past.

Chris frowned "I don't want her hurt. You know what my father would do! And you also know how good I am with words." he shook his head, unsure what to do. "God, I'm a bastard." he muttered

Tara looked at Chris " you should go after he.." She said softly.

Robert sighed " you had a bad experience didnt you?"

Riven said "Right now you were one... go after her... right now she thinks you like all other of angel line think she is unpure.. unfit to be your One... thus needing to be abanoned and destroyed.... Chris i saved this ones from an angel attack... and one looked like her.. enough to be blood kin."

Shive flew trying to keep control...and mostly failing. Her hopes were shattered

Chris paled slighlty, quickly pulling off his jacket, revealing his wings. He scanned the sky for a moment before taking off in a run, flapping his wings hard to lift off, and shooting after her.

Karina shrugged "A couple. I don't live in a very good area."

Shive flew then by habit dropping into a skydance... but it was lonely... she remembered when hse had seen two angels dancing in the sky... it had been lovely.... and even since she mimiced the moves ingraved on her memory. Yet this dance was meant for two... and was lonely as it was lovely

Robert nodded " Trust me when I say I will never hurt you.."

Tara watched him fly off.

Riven said "hope they work it out."

Karina looked at him for a moment before nodded "I trust you," she siad, her voice soft.

Chris backwheeled to avoid her as she swooped by him in the skydance. His eyes followed her, unsure how to catch her attention without colliding.

Shive's eyes were closed focusing on the memory of the two angels... but even to her the dance felt lacking as she had no partner to dance with.... just as her One refused her and left her alone her skydance cried out with lonelyness and rejection. It was the only explression she allowed to show how she felt.

Chris waited for a good moment, then flew into the dance, matching her movements and wingbeats with his own.

Shive kept on dancing but startled she opened her eyes and saw him.. her One dancing with her... and her heart lifted and she put more power into her wings dancing with him... smilng happily in the RIghtness of this...

Tara nodded and nuzzled him " they will.." She said knowingly.

Robert smiled softly " well why don't we see what Everyone is doing downstairs.." He said, offering her his hand.

Riven smiled "It is a shock for them... but i think you are right... you have a knack for such things i think." he drew her close "Or they will if they feel HALF of what i feel for you."

Tara smiled " I see them being happy.. But they will have their troubles.." She whispered, eyes closed.
